Getting StartedÂ
Beginning your journey at New Life Preparatory Academy (NLPA) is simple. Just complete our Online Application, and our Admissions Department will guide you every step of the way.
We work closely with students, parents, and educators to ensure each applicant is placed in the program that best fits their goals — whether that’s earning a high school diploma, recovering credits, completing adult education, or preparing for college.
Programs Available
Students may enroll in one of the following programs at NLPA:
- Adult Education Program
Designed for learners 18 years and older who wish to:
- Complete their high school diploma
- Prepare for college or career advancement
- Improve SAT/ACT scores
- Learn through flexible online, hybrid, or evening schedules
- High School Diploma Program (Grades 9–12)
For traditional high school students seeking a Christ-centered, college-prep education.
- Transfer credits from previous schools with a free transcript evaluation before enrollment
- Homeschool students may integrate prior work if transcripts are provided
- International students can earn a U.S. diploma (see below for transcript evaluation process)
- Distance Online Learning Program
Flexible learning for students anywhere in Florida, the U.S., or abroad.
- Powered by Florida Virtual School (FLVS) and Alpha Omega Publications’ LIFEPAC Christian Curriculum
- Mandatory Old and New Testament Survey for spiritual development
- Accessible 24/7 with personalized teacher support
- Credit Recovery Program
For students currently enrolled in traditional schools who need to make up failed or missing credits to graduate on time.
- Individual Course Program
Choose from NLPA’s course selections to meet credit needs for high school graduation or other academic requirements. Proof of 8th-grade completion is required.
Scholarship OpportunitiesÂ
Eligible students may apply for Florida’s leading private school scholarship programs, including:
- Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC)
- Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO)
- Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) – formerly Gardiner/McKay
- Hope Scholarship – For students affected by bullying, assault, or harassment
- Opportunity Scholarship – Available under Florida’s K–12 scholarship programsÂ

International Students
NLPA welcomes students from around the world. All foreign transcripts must be evaluated by an external agency prior to enrollment.

Transcript evaluation fees apply and are separate from tuition. Processing time is typically 7–10 business days but can take up to 30 days depending on the complexity of the records.
Admissions Requirements
To enroll, students must:
- Demonstrate proficiency in English
- Provide one or more of the following:
- Proof of 5th-grade or higher completion from a school or homeschool
- Official transcripts from previously attended schools
Our Admissions team will provide a free evaluation to determine the best pathway for you.
Credibility & Recognition
While NLPA is not currently accredited, we are a credible Christian institution recognized by the Florida State Department of Education. We are actively pursuing reputable accreditation to further enhance the value of our programs.
